By recycling an assortment of the clients old rings this gorgeous ring was born. I worked with a few old bands that the client no longer wore or were family heirlooms. This in itself curated a unique piece. 2 of the rings were 9ct yellow gold and one was 22ct, it created a unique colour of gold richer than 9ct. Most importantly it kept the sentimental value.

Casting the ring itself took a few attempts, as it sometimes does with sand casting, but it definitely paid off. Once the piece was cleaned up we kept it simple with the delicate flower pattern. The gold took on the impression of the leaves perfectly. This was truly a lovely piece to make and I loved every second, bringing new pieces to life from old otherwise unused jewellery is definitely one of my favourite things to do.
